So I like to write and draw; what a surprise there 

About 5+ years ago I made up my own fake jrock band and have since made another.  It was just sort of a fun project for me but then I found a community on Livejournal for people who have done the same thing.  Then I decided to make a roleplaying forum for it.  It's new and I'm trying to get people to join.  So if you are a writer and think you'd have fun making up a fake jrock band and writing stories with your characters...then private message me and I'll give you the link.  You have to be 16+ and mature.  That probably disqualifies a lot of Tonberry's members LOL but I thought I'd ask.  The site is called Nippon Budokan and you don't have to play as a musician; you can also create a character that is just a regular person or a fan or even a photographer or journalist.  And if you aren't an artist and can't draw your own character(s); there are people there that might draw something for you if you ask nicely.

no.  these aren't fanfics because it is suppose to be original characters; not real people.  And it's not a yaoi site; but if someone wants to have a character that is gay or whatever; I'm not going to object to that.


Anywho, if roleplaying forums aren't your thing; that's cool.  To each their own heh.  But since this one was jrock related; I thought I'd mention it here for anyone interested.

I'm too humble to call myself an artist or a writer, but even so. You just make a band with people in there and...?

I can't really do that as the only thing that comes to mind is Aki Aki Aki Aki Aki Aki. And Hakuei. Or anyone resembling them.

it's like writing any story; you make up the characters; you write them in a story.  The only difference is other people can write the story with you and they can throw in one or more of their own characters.  So it's like interactive story telling I guess ^^

You don't have to be a great writer or artist.  I wasn't a very good writer when I first started; but over the years; I've gotten a lot better.  Practice makes perfect and all that.  Anywho; this is really only enjoyable if you like writing or making comics or whatever.  If that's not a hobby of yours; you might find it boring ^^  For me; I really like writing and drawing; so it's very fun for me to make up a character and then actually draw them.

I admire how this board could prove why you wanted an age and maturity requirement within three posts. I'll check out the site when I get some free time, it sounds neat.
