Holy crap. Already on the second page and none of the better artists were even named?

in no specific order:

Armin van Buuren (vocal/progressive/epic)
Above & Beyond (vocal/progressive) [alias Oceanlab]
Gabriel & Dresden (vocal/progressive)
The Chemical Brothers (electronic/progressive/hard-house)
Airwave (progressive)
Rank 1 (progressive/epic)
DJ Precision (progressive)
Carl B (progressive)
Pink Elephant (progressive)
12" (progressive/epic)
Mezzanine (psy-trance)
DJ Sasha (goa/psy-trance)
Maor Levi (progressive)
Ferry Corsten (progressive/vocal/electronic) [alias System F]
Markus Schulz (progressive/vocal)
Sunlounger (progressive)
Supafly (progressive house)
Benassi Bros. (electronic)
Sander Kleinenberg (hard-house/electronic)
Mylo (hard-house)
Infected Mushroom (psy-trance)

European trance tends to move more to the use of natural instruments (quartets, guitar, chorus, etc.) whereas Japanese trance utilizes more synths and and industrial beats.

Schwartz Stein is not trance; it is more along the lines of Symphonic Trance lathered with vocals.

「Phantasma」

Sasha isn't THAT good. But its good. Infected Mushroom oh lawd, thats some good stuff right there. Blank and Jones have some good stuff too. Try DJ Trace too.

So yeah, Schwarz is trance. Industrial/Trance. Symphonic trance? Its like saying Melodic Trance. Its useless since Trance is melodic =/

We'll compromise and say it's Experimental xD

Sasha was better with Digweed when they had the whole progressive/anthem thing going. I'm also somewhat displeased at Blank & Jones's new stuff, which turned out to be a bit more mainstream, uncreative, and centered on the vocals moreso than the riffs and beats.

And who could forget DT8 (progressive/anthem). Ministry of Sound ftw
