you know.... between two bands..... that you guys know of?

uhh....M-FLO does collaborations a lot....but that's really not too surprising from a rap artist...collaborations seem to be a staple for most rap artists.

Between rock bands...I don't really know though. I know Psycho le Cemu did a song with MCAT but it's pretty cracked out.  and MCAT isn't really rock.
I've also seen TV live clips of Gackt and Ayumi Hamasaki (Silent Night), Gackt and Nami Amuro (Itsuka no Merry Christmas), and Kiyoharu and Ayumi Hamasaki (Masquerade)

Merry and Balzac made one track together (at least), and it's on the Calling single. Then Dollis Marry and Metis Gretel had a coupling CD where they switched vocalists for their most popular songs~

visual bands use to do coupling CD's... for example vidoll and kalimero did one, then due le quartz, kagrra and... i think syndrome? did another.

then there are some units by some members from different bands, dunno if you'd call collaborations though.
for example there's Houkago Club (eiji from codomo A/kibouya honpo and tonbimaru from guru guru eugakan), there's kakuu no hitobito (misa from babylon and mayu from lareine). and a lot more but i can't remember now... anyway those bands are formed only to release 1 CD or play live only once, for the most part.
