from teh first post ;D
I don't know which one exactly , but it is a bad one.
It was the 'Better Internet' one , which normally you have to do a registry sweep for. If you don't get it fast enought it takes over your admin options and locks your comp. Then you have to do a windows install. So , anyone who downloaded it , scan , if you don't get a hit back , just watch your running tasks and see id 'btterinter.exe' runs. if it does , you need to get rid of it fast.
Not to freak anyone out , it took me half of the day to get rid of it.
Is it from this thread?:

because I downloaded it and kapersky says no threats.
i've downloaded it too.. right when it was first posted. No viruses.. just 2 mp3s. My guess, if any, would be that your computer was infected before you downloaded it. I've seen viruses before that would add themselves to zip files so that they could spread through p2ps.
It couldn't have been mine since it was dated at the time the zip was made.
Winpatrol popped up as soon as I hit the download link.
It could be from anywhere . It could of hitched a ride from sendspace , I've gotten other wormy stuff in the way of popups from sendspace.
Nope , it's actually sendspace itself. I did a trackback , and it was added with the zip on the upload date. So just watch what you get from sendspace from now on.
Isn't there a way to notify sendspace that they're sending out viruses?
Yeah that's all you need to tell them:
"Hey, while pirating music, I ran into a virus."
;)

thanks for the warning ^^
Its impossible to make a virus that runs with an mp3. But generally its good to virus scan anything that you download.
I think they were talking about the re-upload, DO. Although they did originally post just the mp3s, they re-uploaded a zip(which was virus-free BTW).
i hate zip files! :'( i always bumped into virus.
